Payout.nz ("we", "us") is a New Zealand website providing free pay and leave calculators. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used, consistent with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Calculator inputs stay on your device

The numbers you type into our calculators (pay rates, leave balances, dates, and so on) are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are not sent to our servers, stored, or shared. When you close the page, they're gone.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data as described in the Google Privacy Policy. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the site free. Ad providers may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. If advertising is introduced or changed, this policy will be updated.

Cookies

Beyond the analytics and advertising cookies described above, we do not set cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; the calculators will keep working.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts and scripts from third-party CDNs (Google Fonts, jsDelivr). These providers may log standard technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests those files.

We hold no personal information

We don't operate accounts, forms, or databases, and the details you enter into the calculators never leave your browser — so we hold no personal information about you. The only data involved is the aggregated, anonymous analytics described above, which cannot identify you and which we have no way to link to any individual.
